Privacy Policy

VIP SIGNALS operates #Photo Restore Scan (the “App”). This policy explains how we handle information for file recovery, cleaning, home screen features, service operation, analytics, and advertising.

Files and device features

With storage access, the App scans accessible device storage for photos, videos, audio files, documents, screenshots, and files identified for cleaning. It reads file names, locations, types, sizes, modification dates, and image dimensions to organize results and provide previews. Scanning, previewing, recovery, and cleaning operate on your device.

Recovery moves selected accessible files into a “Recovered” folder in shared device storage. Cleaning and deletion remove selected files. Review your selections carefully: deletion can permanently remove a file. Recovered files can remain after you clear App data or uninstall the App. You can delete them using the App’s recovered-file controls or a file manager.

For recovery and cleaning reminders, the App monitors changes to accessible media records, including screenshot names and folders, media counts, and deletion or trash status. It also checks available storage, storage permission status, and scan results. These checks take place while the App is running, including in the background.

Device information is read to display device and storage status. Volume changes and application installation or removal events are observed to trigger related reminders and cleaning features.

Home screen and application information

The App queries applications that Android makes visible to it and processes their names, package names, icons, and launch activities to display and launch them from the home screen and app list. It identifies default applications for home screen shortcuts. Cleaning features use visible application information to locate accessible application cache files.

Home screen arrangements, shortcuts, folders, and preferences are stored on your device. You can change the default home screen through Android’s default-app settings.

Information sent to our services

Service configuration

The App sends the following information to our configuration service to obtain settings appropriate to the installation and device:

Usage and advertising measurement

Our usage reporting service receives information about how the App is used. Reports are associated with a locally generated installation identifier, Android ID, and an Adjust identifier when available.

Reports include device brand and model, Android version, screen dimensions, and device type to distinguish device environments. Language, time zone, network type, carrier, IP information, and used and total storage provide regional, connection, and device context for analysis of App operation and use. Our network services also receive connection information, including the IP address used to connect.

Reports awaiting transmission are stored in a local queue and retried when connectivity permits. The App removes queued reports after successful transmission or when the retry limit is reached. This removes the local queued copy, not a report already received by a server.

Analytics, attribution, and messaging providers

Google services

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to report usage and advertising events. Notification interactions help measure notification engagement; ad impressions, sources, placements, and revenue and currency information help measure advertising performance.

Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and exception reports to help diagnose failures. Reports include installation identifiers, crash traces, app and Android versions, device model, and diagnostic information such as memory and disk state. Google retains Crashlytics crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning their removal from live and backup systems.

Firebase Cloud Messaging uses Firebase installation identifiers and registration tokens to deliver messages to an installation. Firebase retains these installation identifiers until the developer requests deletion through its service interfaces. Following that request, the data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days.

For more information, see Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.

Adjust

The App sends selected App events, advertising impressions, and advertising revenue information to Adjust for acquisition and advertising measurement. Adjust returns installation attribution information, which is also sent to our usage reporting service and used to refresh service configuration. Adjust reporting is enabled in the background.

The App also passes its Firebase messaging token to Adjust, linking the messaging registration with its attribution integration.

Advertising

The App uses TradPlus mediation, with Google Mobile Ads as an advertising source. It also integrates Meta Audience Network, Pangle, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Liftoff Monetize, and BIGO Ads. The source serving a particular advertisement depends on advertising configuration and availability.

Google Mobile Ads

Google Mobile Ads processes IP addresses, advertising and app identifiers, interactions such as app launches, taps and video views, and performance diagnostics for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. IP addresses can be used to estimate general location. Google's handling of this information is explained in the Google Privacy Policy linked above.

BIGO Ads

When BIGO Ads serves advertising, it processes information for ad delivery, personalization, measurement, service operation, and fraud prevention:

BIGO Ads shares information with advertising partners and service providers for these services. Its policy limits personal data retention to no more than two years. It determines retention using service needs, the type of information, and legal or contractual obligations. Its Privacy Policy explains its processing, privacy choices, and request procedures.

Advertising choices

The App uses a Google User Messaging Platform consent flow to display advertising choices when that service determines a form is required. Android settings also provide advertising controls, such as resetting or deleting an advertising ID or limiting personalized advertising; available controls vary by device and Android version. Limiting personalized advertising does not necessarily remove advertisements.

Sharing files and sending feedback

When you choose to share a file, the App gives the application you select access to that file through Android’s sharing interface. The receiving application handles the file under its own practices.

If you send feedback through an email application, we receive your email address, message, and information you choose to include. We use them to respond and address the issue described. Please avoid including unrelated sensitive information.

Retention and deletion

The App stores settings, home screen configuration, identifiers, scan-related state, and queued reports on your device. Clearing App storage through Android settings removes its private local data. Android backup and device-transfer services can handle eligible App data according to your device settings; copies held by those services are managed through the relevant system or backup-provider controls. Files in shared storage require separate deletion as described above.

For personal information retained by us for configuration, usage measurement, and support, we retain it for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

Third-party providers apply their own retention and deletion practices, including the specific Firebase and BIGO Ads arrangements described above. Our retention arrangement does not replace theirs.

Your controls and requests

You can change storage access through Android’s permission or special-access settings. Revoking storage access limits subsequent file access. Notification permission and notification channels can be controlled separately in Android settings; disabling notification display does not withdraw storage access.

Changing a permission, advertising identifier, advertising preference, or default home screen does not itself delete existing information. Clearing App storage or uninstalling the App does not itself delete server records, third-party records, shared-storage files, or backup copies.

To ask privacy questions or request access, correction, deletion, or an objection to processing, contact us below. Identify the App and describe your request without sending unnecessary sensitive information. Requests about information independently held by a provider can also be directed to that provider through its privacy channels. Sending a request does not itself erase information from your device or a provider’s systems.

Changes to this policy

We can update this policy to reflect changes in the App and its information practices. The updated policy will be available through the App’s privacy policy link. A policy update does not itself constitute your consent to additional processing.
